The lake water is Lights in the Night

One of the natural phenomena can be seen directly on the lake in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. Scenery in daylight will not give special impression. But if we visit in the evenings, and directs light toward the lake water, then this phenomenon can be enjoyed.

Light appears on the surface of the lake water is a chemical reaction called 'bioluminescence' caused by micro-organisms 'noctiluca Scintillans'. A freelance photographer from Melbourne who came to visit with a friend has made a few pictures below.

"I almost do not believe it when my camera captures good pictures," said the photographer Phil Hart. "People look like an alien creature is blue."
