"The digging has become a regular family event. I hope this excavation will lead to our next destination." Takashi concluded.

More than half a century after the ancient elephant fossils named Naumann, was found in the lake Nojiri, Shinano, Japan. A number of participants continues to dig for fossils of elephants that live in the age of glacial (ice) thousands of years ago.
The first time paleontologists digging in 1962, and Naumann elephant tooth fossil was found in the vicinity of Lake Nojiri in 1948 and 83 thousand other fossils.
