It's Got Teeth dinosaurs Multifunction

Paleontologists from Canada, Patrick Cupp reveal new findings about dinosaur species are known to be most frightening, Tyrannosaurus Rex or so-called T-rex. The study found, dinosaurs have teeth function not only to kill prey or chew, but also to the feeding process (the child or other dinosaurs).

T-rex is not only have large canine teeth and sharp to tear the flesh and crush the bones of its prey. Gigi is also a special role in the process of feeding or feeding, depending on the shape and position at the mouth of these extinct animals.  .

For more than 65 million years ago, T-rex is the largest carnivore on earth. This dinosaur teeth have varying shapes and sizes. Researchers at Alberta University now believe each variety has different goals.

Function is determined by the jagged teeth along the edge, jaw angle, and its location at the mouth of the T-rex itself. Conclusions This study reveals, some teeth designed for cutting meat and bone, while the other teeth help direct food into the mouth of the dinosaurs (other).

The study results also showed that the teeth on the front of the mouth of the T-rex and serves to attract prey mencengkeran, while the piercing and ripping done with the teeth in the jaw.

Meanwhile, the teeth are located in the rear can be used to slice and able to cut the prey into small pieces. Then help force the food into the back of the throat.

Paleontologists also noted, there is the T-rex teeth are blunt and wide, shaped almost like a banana. The tooth to prevent the T-rex dinosaur hurt (when pinning to be taken to a place).

The species Tyrannosaurus rex and other dinosaurs permanently extinct 65 million years ago. Rumored that the mass extinction disaster marked the end of the Cretaceous geological period
