It turns out Komodo bite is Stronger than Cats!

We all know that the Komodo dragon is a fierce animal, and it looks creepy and dangerous unknown. However, recent research conducted by researchers at Rutgers University in the United States and the University of New South Wales, Australia, revealed that the komodo dragon bite was not stronger than domestic cats.

The research team led by Dr Stephen Wroe measure bite force by giving flesh to the dragons. They let the dragons eat it, then measure the strength of its bite. The study results were published in the journal PLoS ONE this month.

Scientists say, although the bite of the Komodo dragon is weak, but very deadly. One reason is because dragons inject a toxin into the prey's body as it has been widely known. Injected poison dragons cause prey shock and severe bleeding.

"When we look back at the results of computer modeling, the data show that the komodo dragon acts like a giant corkscrew. By using his body, komodo prevent too great an investment of energy in the muscles and bones of the head, these highly efficient systems," Wroe said.

Wroe added, komodo dragon is an ancient or primitive animal. However, the dragon has become one of the most effective killer of animals. Komodo looks as amazing animals that managed to survive the time to wade through, but at the same figure that could kill
